Bennington Area Artists Invitational
Paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry and pottery created by area artists are on exhibit and for sale until May 25th. From the representational to the abstract, a broad spectrum of art showcases the creative talents of those living in Southern Vermont.

Special Guest Artist

 

Art of the Animal Kingdom XIII
One of the country's most prestigious wildlife exhibitions opens on June 14 and will run through July 27th. This year's Special Guest Artist, John Seerey-Lester, will be in attendance and giving talks at the opening reception on Saturday, June 14th. Small Works Show
Figurative, landscape, still-lifes and city-scapes will make up an exhibition of smaller works. Artists from the Center's past shows, including the Plein Air Painters of America, Artists for the New Century and Art of the Human Spirit have been invited to participate.

Stanley Maltzman

 

Pastel Society of America
The signature members of America's most prestigious pastel artists will participate in this juried exhibition. Over 65 pieces will be included and for sale.

George Wilson

Impressions of New England
This nation-wide annual exhibition will include images captured in paint and bronze. Seashores, rolling hills, foliage and New England wildlife will be depicted in over seventy fine works of art. Participants have included Elizabeth Apgar-Smith, Kathleen Kennedy, Gerald Lubeck, Pat Parkinson, Ian Ramsay, Carolyn Walton, and Timothy Thies.

American Artists Abroad
Artwork from around the world, created by North American artists, will be exhibited from foliage season into the holidays.  Two and three dimensional artwork by some of the country's finest artists will be included. Artists interested in participating click here.

Woman - The Artists' View
This popular exhibition will again be on view this summer at the Center. Women young and old, in paint and bronze, as portrayed by some of the country's finest figurative artists will grace the walls.

Kenn Backhaus

 

Plein Air Painters of America
Artwork by the Plein Air Painters of America will be on exhibit at the Center this summer with approximately 80 paintings. This same group will exhibit in 2009 as well in conjunction with an artist workshop. For information on the workshop go to our Workshop page. Details will be added as they become finalized.

Hours:  10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday - Sunday until May 1st after which time we will be closed Tuesdays only.
Adults:  $9.00
Seniors/Students:  $8.00
Families:  $20     Under 12 are admitted with no charge
